DEVELOPMENT

Mood boards

I made a moodboard for both level environments.

We were directed in the brief to focus on low-poly and take inspiration the retro 3D games which I focused on in my research.

Environment concepts

For the prototype, we were able to put together two different environments for levels - a dreamland (above) and a beach theme (below)

After the initial concepts on the left, I translated them to the skyboxes on the right.

Repeatable textures

In order to facilitate quick visual prototyping, I made a selection of repeatable textures.

Object design

Most of my concept work for this project was in designing game objects such as power ups and collectables.
